This level of development has the potential to destroy vital wetlands and habitats, create flooding in already developed areas, overwhelm traffic along Castle Hayne Road, overburden schools and public services, but most of all, it will completely change the nature of the Rural Agricultural zoning that has allowed this area of New Hanover County to become a green haven outside of the city. Join us in our efforts to use all available resources to Save the Hayne.
